An exemplary work ethic and value system are key success factors to Much Asphalt. The company operates within a sound policy framework, some examples of which are;

Employment equity plan.

In July 2009, a new Employment Equity Plan was submitted to the Department of Labour, and was accepted.

The Management and employees of Much Asphalt are fully committed to achieving the objectives of the Employment Equity Plan.

Company Health, Safety and Environmental policy statement.

It is the policy of the management of Much Asphalt (Pty)Ltd. to conduct its activities in such a way as to ensure the health and safety of all employees and to give proper regard to the conservation of the environment. Health, Safety and Environment will be given at least equal importance to that accorded to other business objectives.

Quality policy statement.

"Quality Management" means striving to do the job correctly the first time, thereby ensuring that all customers are supplied with products and services that meet their real requirements.

At the same time, it is essential that the system acts as a management tool in the optimization and control of quality in relation to risk, cost and benefits.

A quality management system according to a code of practice for quality systems - SABS - ISO 9002 was therefore introduced in 1986 to meet these objectives. All static plant of Much Asphalt are listed in terms of ISO 9002.
